** SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS **
Don’t forget scholarship applications are due by the end of day on Saturday of our March 2-Day Show, in the office at our show! Fill out our Scholarship Application on our forms tab or make your own answering the listed questions. We look forward to giving out Scholarship money at our awards banquet!
** PARKING POLICY **
Here’s a reminder on parking at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds during SCWGA shows. We would like to clarify the rules, unloading in the morning, it is okay to drive your truck and trailer down to the barns to unload.
Unloading is 15 to 20 minutes only and then your truck and trailer need to be pulled out and moved to the trailer parking area outside the white gate. At 9 o’clock all vehicles need to be out of the barn and Equestrian area unless they have a special pass displayed in the windshield.
Remember the first row at the end of barns 105 & 106 are for RV hook up parking only.
On haul out loading may be done inside the white gate after the last event of the show and you have completed riding your horse and your worker points. The Evergreen State Fairgrounds gate attendant will be monitor the parking. Please be respectful to them and our rules in place for load/unload parking.
** TRAINING CLASS **
As of 11/14/21 - the training class will be for your second horse ONLY, you can no longer run the horse you compete on in your age group. All training horses must be stalled, you must provide your own shavings and strip your stall(s) at the end of the day. You can sign up for training at the office the morning of the show.
** UPDATED STALL CLEANING POLICY **
Again, this year riders will need to provide their own shavings along with required cleaning/stripping of their stalls at the end of the day. All stalls must be adequately bedded for each show and all stalls must be completely stripped into the aisle at the end of the day. Please bring your own wheel barrows, pitch forks, shovels and brooms to make sure your stalls are cleaned/stripped properly.
Beginning our 2022-2023 series year the board has decided to put in place a stall cleaning penalty of $40 per stall that is not cleaned at the end of the day at our shows. This will be a one time fee required to be paid to be able to return to our shows for the year, failure to pay the cleaning fee or failure to clean your stall again will result in your membership being revoked and all earned points lost. The board hopes to not have to utilize this penalty fee but we can only hope that everyone can be proactive and clean their stalls so that the board does not have to stay late after a long horse show day to clean someone else's stalls. Thank you for your understanding! If you have any questions about this new policy please ask.
Vendor Fees: Fees are based on 10% of the vendor's total sales, per day, up to and not to exceed $50 per day (for example: $100 total sales = $10 fee, $250 = $25, $500-$1,000 = $50). Fees will be rounded to the nearest dollar amount. Vendors are asked to check in at the office and make arrangements to pay vendor fees at the end of the show. Space availability is on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, contact a SCWGA board member.

Our season begins on Labor Day weekend each year. The season continues with shows once per month, except in February, and is brought to a close with a two-day show in March. SCWGA wraps up its season with an annual awards banquet where all members and their families are invited to celebrate with one another!
